Eastpointe looks to identify communities where market fundamentals are favorable to multifamily rentals. Areas in which it concentrates its development focus will have several of the following characteristics: little or no existing quality multifamily rental development; close proximity to employment centers; relatively high average household incomes; and, locations near convenient transportation networks. Eastpointe principals have a proven track record in obtaining project entitlements. Where deemed appropriate in order to better capitalize on development opportunities, Eastpointe forms strategic partnerships with individuals or companies that are able to contribute particular knowledge or relationships in an identified community.
Eastpointe’s communities are large enough to support attractive amenities such as onsite maintenance and leasing offices, clubhouses with community rooms and fitness centers, resort style pools, outdoor terraces with barbeque and fire pit, electric car charging stations, and car wash areas. Its communities are planned and designed to be attractive to the young professional knowledge worker, as well as older “move down” homeowners who no longer wish to own their own home but who want to maintain roots in the communities in which they and their families have lived.
